The painting was created in Tahiti and is housed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. It is considered a masterpiece by Gauguin and "a philosophical work that can be compared to the themes of the Gospels."
Medicom Toys' CEO, Tatsuhiko Akashi, personally curated a special series of Bearbricks, which were released during the Akashic Records pop-up event.
